AUTOMATION & ROBOTICS

In the Automation and Robotics module, students study the growing impact robotics has on industry and our lives. Through hands-on experiences, they program and operate a robot and add peripherals.

With the possible bailout of the "Big Three", there is a great deal of questions that remain unanswered.  This video will show you how GM has 'outsourced' their plant to South America.  Why do you think GM, who claims disasterous collapes if a bailout isn't emanate, has moved its' plant out of the United States?  Also, observe the AUTOMATION & ROBOTICS (Modular Station) set-up within this plant.  How has automation and robotics advanced technology in how we obtain goods and services?
